Sketch of Keyport Bible Church building

At Keyport Bible Church, our desire is that people would be growing in knowledge of and love for Jesus Christ.  Our ministries are all aimed at this goal, from preschool forward.  Find out about these various ministries here:

Being Renewed with Mike Chinn

This class will be picking back up in Revelation on September 18, 2019.  This is a time of fellowship, study, and prayer.  Our need for spiritual strength, infused by the Word of God and fellowship, grows as we face some of the difficulties associated with aging.  Through the years this has proved to be a group tightly knitted together by God’s love.  If you are 55+, we hope you can join us to minister to others and be ministered to.  Pastor Mike leads a question and answer format study of the text.

Wednesday Afternoons @ Keyport 2:00 p.m.

Bible Studies for Men

Tuesday Mornings at the Ark with Lenny Koplen

Our current study is the Book of Revelation.  This is a verse-by-verse study to gain a deeper understanding of what God intended His people to know about the destiny and trials of His Church, end-time events, the judgment of men, and the final condition of His saints in glory.  After a brief review, the study will pick up where we left off in Chapter 3 at verse 7 (The church in Philadelphia).  We will have our first study September 10, 2019.

Tuesday Mornings @ Noah’s Ark 8:00 a.m.

Man to Man Bible Study with Mike Chinn

“To Excel Still More.” Lessons from the book of I Thessalonians. We meet every Thursday, between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m., at Cafe Noir in Silverdale, beginning September 19, 2019.  The time and the location are intended to accommodate those who may have work responsibilities that begin at 8:00 a.m.  This group Bible study focuses on life application of scriptural truths and accountability.  We seek to apply the scriptural principle of “iron sharpens iron”.  We would love to have you join us as we seek to learn “man to man” through the book of I Thessalonians.

Thursday Mornings @ Café Noir 6:30 a.m.

Saturday Morning Book Club with Mike Chinn

We gather together on Saturday Mornings from 8:00-9:00 a.m. to discuss the chapters of a Christian book assigned the week before. We will begin with the book, “Maturity”, by Sinclair Ferguson.  Contact Pastor Mike to get your copy. We choose books on a variety of topics, by various authors, written in various time periods.  It is a wonderful time of learning, fellowship, and prayer.  We would love to have you join us, beginning September 14, 2019.

Saturday Mornings @ Keyport 8:00 a.m.

Bible Studies for Women

 Precepts Study Series

Our Tuesday afternoon Women’s Bible Study will focus on what the scriptures teach about love for God and people using the study, “Loving God and Others: The Heart of True Faith”, by David and BJ Lawson and Kay Arthur. Jesus simplified all the rules and regulations of the Law in just two great commands: love God and love people. This study explores how these two commands define the heart of Christian faith by looking closely at what God says about this subject and providing an opportunity to discuss our observations and questions. Our goals for this study will include growing in our love for God and for each other. Please let Becky Sibbett know if you would like a book. The cost is $6.86 and payment can be given to Heather in the office.  The study begins September 17, 2019.

Tuesday Afternoons @ Keyport 1:05 p.m.

Wednesday Mornings in the Bible with Heidi Zylstra

On break for the Summer.

Wednesday Mornings @ Keyport 10:15 a.m.

Vacation Bible School

Every summer we host a week-long VBS program, which is created by KBC staff and volunteers. Our 2019 program (Super Ping-Pong Universe) was held in July of 2019.  Please check back here as the summer season approaches for information about our 2020 program.

Missions

KBC actively supports missionaries around the world, and is actively involved in sending short-term missionaries as well.  This summer (2019) we sent two short-term mission teams out to Harrah, WA, and Poland, and a small group to minister at a Joni and Friends retreat for special needs families.
